Ashwin van Hilten, 26 years old, is a primary school teacher. Born in Colombia and raised in the Netherlands, in his free time, he makes music and goes by the name Dr. Slow Sweat. Dr. Slow Sweat specializes in the loopstation and beatboxing, paired with instruments and singing.

His tracks are mainly focused on musicality and lyrics. Often singing and rapping about feelings, emotions, and life questions, Dr. Slow Sweat puts a lot of thought into his music and message.

Filled with energy and motivation, Dr. Slow Sweat always gives 100% for the occasion. From intimate acoustic sessions for smaller groups to full-on party bangers that turn the club upside down! The Kingbirds 

Founded by a group of students, the band now consists of three members. Bart, Tjeerd, and Ashwin have strong friendships, which shine through at every show! Alongside being primary school teachers, The Kingbirds deliver a fun-filled experience.

Tjeerd Kuipers is the lead guitarist and backup vocalist. With his solos and riffs, Tjeerd gives the Kingbirds flair to the songs. From finger-picking to thick basslines, his skill level is unmatched within the band! Bart Gort is the band’s drummer, backup vocalist, and entertainer. Bart makes sure the audience is seen, heard, and is part of the fun! He leads the interactive parts of the show and encourages the crowd to participate! And finally, Ashwin van Hilten, the lead vocalist and guitarist. With his strong, versatile voice and energy, he knows how to set the tone. From powerful, uptempo songs that get the room dancing to intimate, emotional ballads that will leave you speechless.
